Eligibility: The PhD Degree shall be open to: a) Candidates, who have obtained a Masters Degree of this University or any other University established by law in force or any other degree recognized as equivalent thereto in that subject or allied subject with 55% marks or equivalent letter-grade in qualifying examination (50% marks or equivalent letter-grade for SC/ST/PH).
M.Phil : Mass Communication & Journalism
- Eligibility: Post-graduate degree in Master of journalism & Mass Communication with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/PH candidates) from a recognized University/Institute.
- No. of Seats: 30

Master in Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC)
- Eligibility: Graduate degree with 50%marks in any subject (40%marks for SC/ST/PH candidates) from recognised university.

MBA in Media Business Management
- Eligibility: Graduate degree (10+2+3) in any discipline with 50% (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates) or equivalent grade as recognized by University/Institute or as recognized by the UGC
